Lots of cars, trucks are on the road this side.

So, people who want to drive in this direction from Maharashtra (to MP, UP, Bihar, JH as well) there are no restrictions.

Thank you so much. Are you carrying some E-pass or any other travel documents?

Nothing apart from Medical Certificate stating I'm fit to travel with no symptoms of COVID-19.

Have you received any update on this query? Asking because I am in a similar predicament.

Nothing definitive. But amonst this thread and the sister thread https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/route...e-queries.html (Mumbai - Pune - Kolhapur - Goa : Route Queries) , I recall seeing one reply saying it's open 24 hrs, and a few replies saying that its open only after 9 am. So best is to assume that it opens at 9 am.

Has anyone traveled between Belgaum (or any part of Karnataka) to Pune. Is a pass required ? Any restrictions ? Please share some information. A friend of mine needs to travel back to Pune from Belgaum.

Anyone who has travelled to Rajasthan from Maharashtra? A friend of mine needs to travel to Jhalawar from Pune. Does he require any pass? What all documents if they are required?

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Hi all,

I'm planning to travel from Bangalore to Nagpur (Maharashtra) by road. There will be 4 travelers (including my 3 year old). Planning to avoid the Hyderabad route, since AP appears to have many restrictions on interstate travel.

Can anyone suggest what I can expect at the KA->MH border? KA says no pass required, but MH only seems to allow goods vehicles. So not sure if I need a pass to enter MH or how to get one.

Any pointers will be appreciated.

Regards,

Reached Mumbai safely on 14th with a night halt at Indore. No one stopped us at any of the borders or check post. We had e-pass for MP only and were carrying medical certificates. It was a smooth drive!

Re: Interstate travel with the Covid-19 restrictions

Hi All,
Posting an update that might help others.

This morning I travelled from Bangalore to Virupatchipuram (near Palamner, in AP).

Docs carried:
Karnataka Epass
Aadhaar original
Aadhaar linked mobile was with me
Vehicle documents

What is not required:
Any sort of medical certificate
No AP local ID proof required

The only checkpost that stops and checks you is at Gaddur. Home quarantine seal is stamped on all car occupants palms only when entering Karnataka.

Started from Bangalore: 4.00am
Reached checkpost: 5.40am

Started from AP: 7.00am
Reached same checkpost: 7.30am
Reached home: 9.20am

Expect super long Q when entering Karnataka as there is just one guy at the desk. Car and luggage are not checked at all.

Didn't you apply for any e-pass from AP to travel within and outside the state?

If you want to avoid AP and TS you need to take Bangalore Chitradurg Bijapur Solapur Nanded Yavatmal Wardha Nagpur route.
Now if you put Bangalore Nagpur in G map it will take you correct upto Solapur, and then onto smaller roads upto Amravati, but if you put Solapur and on reaching Solapur search for Nagpur you will get the correct route via Nanded, and Yavatmal.

MH needs an E-pass so apply online.

I had applied thrice and all 3 times it was declined. As they give passes only for Pilgrims, labourers and students.
If I choose pilgrim - they need darshan ticket and accomodation confirmation details.
If I choose student - they ask for Id card
I am not labourer (hence all 3 ruled out)

I mentioned the exact details of my visit and they declined it. Only after I reached the checkpost, got to know that either one of the state's pass is sufficient, not both.

Thanks for the info.
Here is my situation - need to go from BLR to HYD. KA doesn't need any pass for exit and TS also doesn't need any pass for entry. Would be returning to BLR only after a week.
Also planning a longer route via Raichur which doesn't need an entry into AP.
Kindly suggest.
