if anyone has access to the official order (from chief secretary) soft copy, please share.

Attached. Shared by a friend who works in Health Department, so should be authentic.

Finally some clarity.

Has anyone recently visited Valparai? Just wanted to know if the drive to Athirapally is allowed, or if there are any mandates at Malakkapara check post.

I was wondering about the same too. Any BHP-ians or someone in the know who have taken a road trip to the following destinations in the past few days:

1. Chimmini Dam
2. Neliyampathy
3. Athirapilly - Malakkappara

Not planning to cross into TN, but to stay in Kerala roads itself. Long before the pandemic I used to frequent these roads every now and then. Not sure if outsiders / non residents are permitted now. Kindly post here if the route is open.

Any latest updates on checking at Attibele border (towards TN > KA)?

I returned from Chennai to Bangalore on Thursday (July 15) and crossed Attibele around 1:30 PM. There was a huge jam on both sides but I couldn't see any checking happening that explained the jam. I got lucky and managed to cross without being stuck much and was not stopped or checked. The shed they had put up for Covid related checking also appeared empty. I would suggest carrying the vaccination certificate just in case there is any random checking.

Just completed Bangalore - Alapuzha the day before. Was driving solo.

Only casual check at Walayar Checkpost - The cop was extremely respectful and asked me "Saare, where are you going and where are you coming from?" After I answered that he asked me if i had a RTPCR test report. Told him I have been vaccinated and reached out to my bag. He just waved me off without even checking with a casual glance into the back of my car - I was driving an XUV. Said a Thanks and drove off!

No other checks anywhere.

That shed for Covid checking causes extreme left 2 lanes to be blocked so almost always there is a jam when entering Bangalore from Hosur side. On the other side going out of Bangalore, it's perennially choked due to traffic on any normal/non-lockdown day.

Did Thrissur - Bangalore today.
There was checking at Walayar and they asked for E Pass for TN. Showed it on mobile and then proceeded.

Couldn't see any checking at Attiibele (I crossed at 2:30PM).
My cousin who crossed border at 12PM told me that KL / TN / MH cars were checked at that time. They were just noting down the phone no + name (Along with checking of Vaccine certificate or RTPCR results)

Travelled yesterday from Bangalore to Kochi. I had TN pass but nobody checked. Was stopped at Valayar and asked for kKerala pass and -ve RTPCR. Showed Kerala pass, -ve RTPCR for me(single dose) and vaccination report of parents(fully vaccinated).

Drive was smooth. No major traffic blocks anywhere including Kuthiran. Left from Whitefield at 4:15AM and reached Kochi at 1:30PM with a 40 minute breakfast break at A2B on the way.

Travelled from Kerala to Bangalore yesterday. Was asked for the TN Epass at Walayar. Waved me off as soon as I lifted the phone to show them the pass. No other stoppage on the way. Light traffic at Attibele and they were randomly checking a few non-KA vehicles.

Did Kollam-Bangalore via Punalur-Aryankaavu-Shenkottai-Tirumangalam last Friday, 16th July.

Stopped at Puliyarai checkpost before Shenkottai where they checked the TN transit pass and noted down the vehicle and driver details. Very fast with hardly 10 mins spent. There were no other checks post this anywhere.

Drive was pretty smooth despite rains right from Kottarakara till Rajapalayam. Tarmac is good throughout. Carried breakfast and lunch, but stopped at Temple City Hotel just before taking a left to NH44 highway to have a quick coffee and rest room break as there was almost nil crowd around 11AM. Would suggest this hotel for anyone taking this route.

Started at 5:15AM from Kollam and reached home near Old Airport at 6:15PM including all breaks.

Did Coimbatore to Calicut today morning. Had taken the epass however the border was empty and unmanned so crossed over without any stoppage. This was at 6 am.

Multiple debits are happening at the L&T bypass toll booths. For me double charge was debited while returning back from Kerala to Bangalore. (18th Jul).

Luckily, the additional debit was reversed today.

i've noticed the same phenom too when I did the same route few weeks back. This seems to be by design as entering specific lanes in subsequent toll booths on the L&T stretch results in a repeat debit but gets reversed later.

I too got into the same issue when I traveled last year November. But I didn't get any refund updates for a week. Later raised a ticket with ICICI fasttag support and got the refund after a month or so.
