Bhimas Residency is amazing. But please note there are more than one Bhimas in Tirupathi. The one you should look is the establishment near the cross roads closer to the railway station/bus station.

Its called Bhimas Paradise. (Location)

Re: Bangalore - Tirupati - Road, Hotel info required

Received the following message on my Whatsapp.Very useful, particularly for those vegetarians who like no Garlic/Onion in their food:
Message(Exactly as received)
A great NEWS for Pilgrims visiting Tirupati!

Pilgrims visiting Tirupati would like to have a pious food free of Onion and Garlic. But one will find it scarce and have to look out for those places serving pious food.
Also for a comfortable stay one does'nt have much options except hotels or lodges where everything is mixed up.

Keeping this in mind Sri. Gopalakrishnan a sishya of Sri Vanamamalai Mutt has started Sri Vaishnava Bhojanam at his residence in Tirupathi along with accomadation facility for pilgrims.

This is a purely residential place not a hotel or lodge, he serves home cooked pious food and also provides accomadation with decently furnished A/C and Non A/C rooms with all necessary facilities.

All these at a very much affordable budget with Quality Service as the only Motive for the pilgrims.

Those who require food need to order one day in advance. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner are provided along with evening tiffin if required.

Those requiring accomadation need to inform well in advance to ensure availability and a comfortable stay.

This service is available on all days of the week. Request to share this and help pilgrims visiting Tirupathi.

For Details Contact:

(Forward as received)
Note: I have not yet utilised their services.Would like to get feedback from any of the BHPians, who avail of the same.
Thanks

Re: Bangalore - Tirupati - Road, Hotel info required

We are planning to drive to Nellore (via Tirupati) this friday. Starting Bangalore at around 9 in the morning, we are looking for a good hotel (on the highway) for the lunch. As per our calculation, we should be near Tirupati by 1pm. Hence, I would like to know any good vegetarian hotel around Tirupati, but strictly on the highway as we do not want to enter the city.

Hi,
Need some details for stay in Tirupati.

We are four members travelling to Tirupati (2 kids and 2 adults). We plan to walk to Tirumala to Tirupati.

It would be very helpful if anyone give some decent stay with Car parking in Tirupati near to the downhill where we can start uphill.

You can stay in any of the hotels that fits your budget and take an Auto to Alipiri and walk up to Tirumala. You can take Alipiri steps or SrivariMettu steps. Look up to Bangalore-Tirupati thread for latest details.

Thanks Ravi for your reply.

Tried few hotels (24 hours from check in) based on the internet, but most of them were not as per the mentioned rule in Internet. Car parking they mentioned as Yes and while checking reviews customers said its on the road side only. No specified parking.
May be will try this time based on google reviews and update this thread from my side.

I stayed in this hotel recently and the rooms are clean, though small.

They have open car parking in 2 mts walkable distance. Also, PS4 veg restaurant is just 5 minutes walk which is very good.

Just called the Hotel AK and confirmed its having a separate parking space it seems and also allowing 24 hours stay after Check-in. Cost is around 1800 INR.

Thanks once again Ravi.
