For those looking for BLR to Pondy route.
In case your are traveling to Pondicherry ( from Bangalore ).

The route to be taken is :
BLR -> Hosur -> Krishnagiri -> Thiruvanamalai -> Chengi ( Gingi ) -> Tindivanam -> Pondicherry .

You can have a stop-over at the Reliance Plaza after Hosur.
The restaurant at Hotel Ramakrishna in Thiruvanamalai ( near to some north of the east gate of the sprawling temple ) is also good ( though the meals at lunch time did did not measure to my expectations ).

Ram Pratap if you search around the forum under the travelogues and route queries sections there is loads of info. on the same.IMO almost every single route from bangy has been discussed extensively.

Search is the keyword here :). Never the less thanks for sharing .

Think this is the one I took sometime back on my bike. Road was excellent minus the part somewhere in btw!
