Howz Yelagiri weather now? Planning a trip the weekend

I am planning a trip to Yelagiri this weekend, looks like route directions given in 1st post of this thread are sufficient (http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/travel...ore-drive.html).

Can someone who visited recently (1 or 2 weeks) or who lives nearby tell me if weather is good to visit? If it rains heavily, it will make it horrible trip.

Thanks in advance for your inputs!!

Weather all over TN is bad. Its been raining on & off. I've not been to Yelagiri, but uptil Krishnagiri & Salem. Has been raining intermittently.

If the depression over the Bay clears up by the weekend, it should be ok. The GQ uptil Natrampalli is good. From there I'm not very sure. But all State roads have been relaid recently, so hopefully should hold.

Going to Yelagiri from bangalore is a not a issue at all...You can even enjoy the drive in rains as the roads are good throughout...
I would rather say that Yelagiri looks better when it rains...

If it rains, it may be good to drive in highways, but can't get out in Yelagiri and do anything !! Thats why I am thinking if I should go for it this time.

Hi,

Its an excellent time to go to yelagiri. Yelagiri is much much better when it rains. Go for it unless there is a cyclone or something happening.

Cheers

There is nothing to do in yelagiri other than taking a walk around the lake and enjoy the rains sitting in the resort...

It is a different experience as well ...
Try it out...
