Want to see desert and sand dunes

so have you gone or not? I did the same in like three days ex-delhi.
delhi-bikaner- jaisalmer-bikaner-delhi

The route is so unbelievably inane that its soul killing.

Jaisalmer/sam S-CKS. If you want a good package, go Jodhpur. its fort is simply unbelievably maintained. There are CHOTU dunes at osian nearby. VERY VERY clean, not crawling with ugly littering tourists or black sand like sam.

Of course, if you do the route, visit Longewala. The border post is worth a visit. Do take pics on the darned tank

Best would be to do jugaad or spend a day in Jaisalmer, getting permits to visit the border. That would be special. Jaisalmer fort is seriously overrated. And frankly, chilling in a rooftop cafe in Jodhpur is just oh so worth it.

Nope went and saw slightly bigger dunes in himachal.
