Shortest Route : Hyderabad to Chennai

Hello friends,

In January, 2008 I plan to travel from Hyderabad to Chennai. Please let me know the shortest route but where the road is good. I have the following route in mind :
Hyderabad - Nakrekal - Nalgonda - Miryalguda - Guntur (or thereabouts) - Nellore - Chennai.

I have given the broader outline of my journey since I am not aware of the route from Guntur to Chennai though I know it to be 4 lane NH5.

Kindly advise.
