Best place for a 2-3 day trip around Bangalore for elders

I am trying to take my parents for a short trip. Since my father has knee pain, tough places which involve climbing/stair are ruled out.

Coastal areas are too hot around this time.

Can you suggest some good places for them to see around Bangalore?

Mysore, Muddumalai, Masinagudi, BR Hills, Madikere, Kabini towards the west ( Mysore Road )

Yercaud, Yellagiri towards Hosur. Plenty of accomodation available on the net.

Horseley Hills towards Tirupati. APTDC has a resort here.

There are some travelouges on T-BHP that you can browse for places in Karnataka..

cheers![/SIZE]

I second that.Coorg(Madikere) however was not very cool when we went there last week.In fact the Sun was pretty harsh after 10'oclok making it pretty much uncomfortable for a hill station.Try Oooty if the rush is not an issue you.Horsley hills...There is nothing to see around, just a pleasant climate and thats all.

I second aravindwarrier. I went to Dubare Jungle Lodges last weekend and th place was hot. You should definitely be trying Ooty, Kodai or Yercaud.

Or you could even try Kemmannagundi. It is great to be there this time of the year...slightly cool and close by for you to drive down to. Keeping in mind your father's knee problems.

Let us know what you decide. Have a great trip.
