One ways in Central Bangalore ??

Is there a map or guide which defines the one ways in the heart fo the city.

I am particularly looking at reaching "Ambedkar bhavan"(next to bhagwan Mahaveer Jain hospital/ before cantonment bridge) on Millers Road but cant figure out the route due to unknown one-ways. I can reach Vidhan Soudha with ease.

But a comprehensive map/detail will help others like me too.

Right now its 2 way.

Route: From Vidhana Soudha, proceed further and turn left towards Cunningham Road. Go till dead end (Hotel Chandrika) and turn right. In about 400 metres you will get Ambedkar Bhavan towards right.

dadu I think you gotto look at options and explore the city. There is no way on sweet earth that todays 2-way is gonna remain the same tomorrow atleast in Bangalore.

Here is the route you gotto take

From Indian Express Circle take Cunningham Road and keep following the road till you reach the end of this one-way(there's a circle here). From this circle you cant drive any further on since the one-way end right here for the oncoming traffic from Sankey Road.

You either take a left or the right(on your right you will find Hotel Chandrika).Take the right from there towards Cantt' and from there on ask anyone where Ambedkar bhavan is.

the whole thing is one way, except upto Indian express.
Vidhan Shoudha ---> Keep driving towards GPO (Vidhan soudha is on your left)
Cross signal (GPO is on your right)
Keep going straight (Next signal is infantry road signal)
Next signal is Indian express
Take left here (You are on Cunningham Road once you take left)
Keep going straight till end of road (You will cross Sigma mall, and end of the road you will have Chandrika hotel on your right)

Take right at end of Cunningham road, and keep moving towards Cantt. Station, and you will find Ambedkar Bahavan on right.

To come back-->
go upto Cantt. Station and make a loop, and you will end again at Indian express.

The small stretch of Sankey Road (aka Chowdaiah road) between the junction just after Raj bhavan entrance gate and Palace road is a one way. You need to take the left fork at that junction, get to the circle near Hotel Chalukya and take a right there on to Palace Road, and take the next left turn to get back on to Sankey Road. Check out Google Maps for that area - the one ways are clearly marked there with an arrow in one direction only.

Also you don't need to go till Mekhri circle for going to Yeshwantpur. Continue straight on Sankey Road / Chowdiah road after the left turn at Cauvery Theater junction (which you'll be forced to take - you need to take a U turn immediately afterwards to go towards Mekhri circle / Airport), and you'll reach the junction in front of Indian Institute of Science (where you'll join the road coming from Mekhri Circle - Sadashivnagar police station).

There are no one-ways/diversions along this route. Should be a smooth exit out of the city early in the morning..

Only diversion is near the BHEL circle where you gotto take a left and then a sharp right u turn to join the underpass. This is the only bottle neck along this route and is after the sadashiv nagar police station signal.

At the hour you are driving it will be a breeze to go thru this circus, nothing to worry just follow the directions. Try and avoid the ring road via BEL circle to join the Tumkur road at Gorguntepalya coz this road is blocked as early 4:00 am, thanks to the level crossing and the trucks.

Your route is the best option for now to reach tumkur road.

Maramma Circle to BHEL Circle is now a one-way. Its open only for vehicles coming from Yeshwantpur/IISc side. If you go through Chowdiah road, then one has to take a left at Maramma Circle and go through Malleswaram 17th Cross, then take 8th Main to reach Yeshwantpur circle.

Going via Mekhri Circle is better.
