Alapuzha- Changanacherry Road. 23Kms. Paddy fields on both sides.

Amboli Ghat between Sawantwadi(Maharashtra) - Belgaum(Karnataka).

Just back from a drive in the western ghats, awesome scenery on the Honnavar- Sagar stretch.

in monsoon i love the train ride from karjat to lonavala. with water falling thru hundreds of small fals.

i am sure the road trip would have similar effect

Sridhar, do you want roads for sedate driving or for ripping? A lot of the Kerala boys just finished a Monsoon Drive, though we didnt get a drop of rain while we were driving :(

The road was scenic, but the pace was frenetic.

G N Chetty Road, T Nagar, Chennai - very scenic during the monsoons! ;)

Hubli-Ankola-Karwar, NH63, roads are good now.

Bangaloreans please drive on BEL new road. Nothing to beat the 1st few kms :D .

My pick would be to drive in Wayanad any road for that matter.

Are you talking about New BEL road,and which end of the road?

I would love to drive on shiradi and charmadi ghat section during monsoon.

Hassan-Charmadi Ghats via Belur.

Mangalore - Manipal via the Karkala route.

Mangalore- Moodbidri-Belthangady- Charmadi Ghats (Bangalore route)

Kollur - Kodchadri forest range - Shivmoga

Which one is the new BEL road?

Surprisingly, not a single monsoon scenic drive on the Northside??

Chamba-Mussourie, it goes through the clouds. There may be many others, but never done those routes during monsoons!

Jeez! Seeing such photos I feel a compulsion to immediately head out to the hills! My favourite time for a trip is the monsoons - himalayas at their best!! :)
