Hyderabad to Goa Route

Hi,
I am planning to drive from Hyderabad to Goa next month. I understand I have multiple choices:
1. Hyderabad - Sholapur - Bijapur - Belgaum - Panaji
2. Hyderabad - Raichur - Hubli - Karwar - Panaji

Are there any other route that is suggested. My preference is good road condition and overall around 50-100 kms extra for good road condition is ok.
