Pointers to Homestay at Coorg

I am looking for pointers on where me and my wife can stay for a 2 - 3 day holiday at Coorg.

Any pointers on this would be very helpful.

I thought you were giving the pointers(not asking for one). Thread title a bit misleading in my IMO.

I would definitely recommend "Palace Estate" at Kakabbe..... off the beaten (Madikeri) track, spectacular views from the verandahs in front of the rooms, a small waterfall right on the estate that you could make a mini-trek to, good food, friendly folks.

Although, since it's monsoon, I'm not sure about the condition of the roads etc....also, maybe the leeches are out in force now that it's monsoon.
