Road condition of NH4A

Hi BHPians,

I am planning to do a Goa trip from Bangalore in the second week of August. I have decided to travel via Hubli->Alnavar->Londa->Ponda->Panjim. Just wanted to check with you guys regarding the condition of the road from Hubli->Alnavar->Londa->Ponda i.e NH4A. Will my Swift be able to overcome this road??(if it is in a bad condition that is) Or would it be better to go upto Belgaum and take the Khanapur route which eventually connects to this road. Any help/inputs would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Taz.
