B'Lore-Sikkim-Bhutan by road......Need details

Hi

After our succussful road trips to leh & Uttaranchal by road, now we are planning for another long trip this year.
Vehicle - Scorpio
2 families (Myself & wife, friend & his wife)
Leaving on 29th Dec & planning to come back after 16days, probably by 15th Jan.
Our first halt after leaving bangalore will be at Siliguri.

Need to know few things
1. What is the process to get visa
2. Can we take our vehicle there
3. Documents required to carry( for visa & vehicle permit)
4. What are all the places we can cover
5. Our plan is to spend a week in sikkim & 1 week at Bhutan. hope these many days are fine.

Guys need your guidence.
