While your question has been answered, consider splitting the stay between one night at Phardapur (closest accommodation to Ajanta) and Aurangabad. It helps to beat the crowds and get some (any) photos inside the caves. The caves are spacious but their entrances (including stairs) can get uncomfortably crowded as the day progresses. Rest is your wish.

Aurangabad has a new Sayaji that seems to have good reviews. In Ajanta we stayed at MTDC.

In August, we stayed at The Aures, Aurangabad. A comfortable stay and good food choices. Central location to all tourist spots.

Stayed at Ambassador Ajanta Hotel. Has a good large property with multiple facilities. Rooms were clean and service was quite good.

Need recommendation for a 3N stay at Hampi. Is it preferable to stay somewhere closeby? Most of the stays highlighted on MMT are those rustic resorts which I fear may not have hygiene and service as their top priority (maybe I am biased). Open to suggestions.

Malligi Hospet would be my suggestion. Not a very fancy one, but good clean rooms + well established one.

Other option will be Royal Orchid Hospet, but couple of years when I stayed there, the cleanliness was just okay. From Hospet to Hampi is just a 20 mins drive, so should be easy for sightseeing also.

Now that many travellers are using the Bangalore - Chitradurga - Hospet - Vijayapura - Solapur - Pune route instead of NH48 via Belgaum and Kolhapur due to road widening work, I can recommend Hotel LeMore Stay and Dine at Solapur for an overnight halt esp for people coming from Bangalore and heading to Pune and Mumbai. The Hotel is located along the highway and therefore easy to reach.

Will be travelling back from Indore to Pune tomorrow morning. Original plan was to start early morning and reach Pune by night. But while coming from Pune to Indore few days back, we realized that with a small kod it was tough to do this route in one day. So we plan to take a break in Nashik tomorrow night. Need suggestions for a decent budget hotel with secure car parking in Nashik. It should not be too far from the highway from Indore to Pune.

Hotel Kewal would be a good option for your need. I used it while transiting a couple of times. Their Whatsapp number was 7559188391. If OK, book directly for better deal.

I recently stayed at Daya by Renai in kochi and it was nice, well located on Sahodaran Ayyappan Road off Vytilla junction close to the NH 66.
Thanks to yet another great recommendation by and my good friend BHPian @ranjitp1

Last year we had stayed at Renai Cochin near Kaloor/Palarivattom and that was a good experience as well.

Would anybody have any suggestions on the best place to stay for a night at Kothagudem in Telangana. Thanks in advance

Do you have any recommendations for a decent hotel in Ayodhya where I can stay with my wife for a two-day trip in March/April? Most of the hotels I see are like guest houses, which does not give me any confidence. Anything in a good locality, 3-4star, and around 4-7k per night would be ideal. Thanks in advance for your recommendations

You might want to check out The Ramayana, it is the best in the vicinity https://www.theramayana.in/

One option is the UP Tourism hotel. Typical (apathetic) government service, but centrally located.

While The Ramayana is a good option, it is on the Ayodhya Bypass road and connectivity may be patchy if you don't use a Cab. The old-money stay options of the land are (in the order of preference)

Krishna Palace
Shane Awadh
Tirupati

All 3 are close to Ayodhya Cantt railway station
On main roads
Inside the city with great local food options nearby
With an AC EV Bus connection that takes you directly to the temple for peanuts.

But these are 7-7.5 km away from the temple so there is a distance involved.

In December my extended family had planned visit to Varanasi and Ayodhya. As all trains to Ayodhya were cancelled due to Ayodhya platform renovation, I cancelled my Ayodhya trip and returned from Varanasi. But my extended family had visited Ayodhya. I had booked 6 rooms (3 Units of 2 BHKS) in Guru Sadan each room @3k per day. They were happy with Guru Sadan. Newly built, clean rooms and good service. Ayodhya doesn't have many good options. I think there is only one 4 or 5 star hotel in Ayodhya.

Planning to drive to Velankanni via Pollachi-Dindigul-Trichy-Nagapatanam.
Driving solo and am looking for a late night check-in and early morning check-out in a hotel by the highway in Dindigul. Any good option? Safe and secured car parking and quality room is a must (3-5 star)
