Can oneone suggest a decent 3* hotel in New Delhi ? We (family of 2) are planning to visit Delhi and would be there for 4 days (enroute to Manali) and hence would like to make the bookings. We are looking for accomodation inside the city (probably closer to ND railway station). Our accomodation budget is around 30K in Delhi (for 2 families for 4 nights)

Waynad - Sulthan Bathery

One more place in Waynad. Decent homestay. 2 bedrooms, a hall and a kitchen.
They prefer family or a small group of guys and girls. Can accomodate about 8 people comfortably.

Charges: Rs 1000 for a room. Rs 200 for every extra head.

Food (veg/non-veg) can be arranged, at extra cost.
If intrested contact - 09845 966 926

They will help you out with touring waynad, show you nice unexplored waterfalls, or help you chart a map so that you can take the best route to cover the best places first. In short, very helpful, really cheerful people.

30K is a huge budget, you will find alot of hotels there but since you are travelling with family i would recomend you to stay little far from that area, as it is mainly a tourist area and croud is not that great. Try cannaught place there are many great hotels like Alka and cannaught.

For Kodaikanal, I would recommend you to stay at Villa Retreat (Kodaikanal Villa Retreat, Hotel in Kodaikanal) in their Deluxe Room on top floors facing Coaker's walk (Room 108) for best view. Food is just great !! Instead of holiday package you can just get the room as it will work out much cheaper.

Just found this Guest House during my last trip. Good for group of guys. I am not sure if accompanying with ladies is safe or not. Rooms are OK. But its at the top hill. Very beautiful scenic place.
