Great, we'll work something out so that you don't need to go too far off course for the breakfast. Maybe I'll meet you guys at Iffco Chowk & escort you to a close by place for breakfast (weather God willing) or, worst case scenario (if majorly delayed) a cup of tea only!

That is what I was thinking as well. Right turn at Iffco, quick breakfast & then on through Pahari........we'll tie this up once we have some clarity on their progress.

@HVK&Hrag, I assume you guys know more than me to get yourself guided out of Chennai from NH5 to NH4, nevertheless if you are planning to have breakfast in Chennai do let me know so that I can join you guys, may be the Motel in Poonamallee should be a good bet.

Edit: Offcourse All the Best, would be glued to your progress through this forum.

suman/kpzen, all will depend on our progress on day 2 (Bom-Del).
Theoretically, we would like to touch Delhi proper since we are supposed to be on a GQ drive, but if need be, we will take your Ballabhgarh plan.

Wow. Looks like we will 'have' to meet fellow bhpians on the way for lunch/b-fast/chai etc.. -- where ever possible (schedule permitting).

Srikanth, you can join us on this mini-drive too!
We hope to take the Ring Road from NH5 (Madhavaram) to NH4 (Mogapair), with the expertise of hrag who runs to and fro Chennai-Blr like a TTC bus, but yes, the Motel idea at Poonamalle sounds good. Please do SMS us your number.

Yes, right turn at Madhavaram roundabout (under the flyover) and then Jawaharlal Nehru Road, beyond Padi RS, Anna Nagar West BS, Thirumangalam BS until Poonamalee High Road (NH4) and right onto NH4

Good Luck Guys. I was interested for this short drive (in terms of time i mean) but I am flying to Kolkata on 25th Morning.
I would be in Suri when you will pass through NH2 on 28th. If I was in Kolkata I would have tried to come to NH2 or NH6 to meet you guys.
Anyway Kumarji/hrag/mjothi, I might call you time to time to get a feel of your experience(s).

Abhi

Hai HVK,

Like we discussed, the timing is a little off, otherwise I would be in your truck.

Anyway, buzz me as you pass through, we can have a road-side eye-ball somewhere between the Expressway exit and Chiloda circle on the SP. ring road and wave you through?

All the best, that's a gret plan.

Redhills->Ambathur->Avadi->poonamalee road is also an other option, but i'm not sure about the road condition now.
