Madhya Pradesh is second only to Karnataka in the quality of roads :( Reached Bhopal at 11:00 PM. Left from Pune at 8:00 AM in the morning.

Left Bhopal for Agra at 12:00 PM on 06/01/09. Took the Bhopal-Sagar-Lalitpur-Jhansi-Gwalior-Morena-Agra route. Bad roads all the way upto Gwalior. Unbelievably bad fog after Morena upto Agra(75km) and took around 4hrs to cover this distance by trailing numerous tracks. Visibility was next to nil. Finally managed to reach Agra at 1:00 AM.
Today was spent in exploring Agra and taking in the sights of the Taj Mahal.

Hi all,

The trip was successfully completed as per schedule. The route followed was Bangalore-Pune-Nashik-Indore-Bhopal-Sagar-Jhansi-Gwalior-Agra-Delhi-Jaipur-Ajmer-Udaipur-Ahmedabad-Surat-Mumbai-Pune-Bangalore. Total distance covered was around 5500km. Total time taken was 9 days.
Reached Bangalore on 12/01/09 at 11:50 PM in the night. Will write a travelogue about my experiences, roads and also upload photographs and logs over the weekend.
