Well yes the MP route used to be in pretty bad shape in that stretch(NH3 I think). The last I heard they are repairing it & building 4 lane Highway but I am not sure how much has been repaired & what is the current situation.

The route in consideration is:
Pune->(NH50)Sangamner->Shirdi->Malegaon->(NH03)Dhule->Sendhwa->Mhow->Indore->Dewas->Biaora->Guna.

My friend told me that road till sendhwa (MH-MP Border) are good but further in MP there are not so good.

Please guide me with the current route is fine or alternative route is available. Also how much distance it would be and time taken to cover it.

We are also thinking to go via mumbai->Surat->Ahmadabad->Kota->Guna.
Let me know your inputs.

nasik to dhule is great dhule to palasner on mp border is escellent.

i do not know if malegaon flyover and dhule flyover are completed?

if they are by now indore will be a breeze.

only sore point is sendhwa ghat which is crowded by oversized container trucks if you get through fast then the road till dhmanod is ok.

regards

Malegaon and Dhulia flyovers are complete now, I heard. NH3 is terrible at the MP border. While NH3 north of Dewas was in good shape when I travelled in Jan, I hear that it has cracked up badly now. The icing on the cake is the Damnod-Indore 4-laner which si simply superb.
