Please Advice - B'lore - Trichy - Kodai - Munnar - Tvm

Hi friends I'm planning for a trip starting friday afternoon. Have planned as below, please advice on the road conditions.

blr - trichy - kodai - munnar - tvm - 950kms

my Holux 55A with Meriod black edition has adviced like this

fastest - 950kms

bangalore - hosur - krishnagiri - dharmapuri - selam - namakkal - karur - trichy - dindigul - kodai - munnar (via NH 49) - kochi - cherthala - alappuzha - kayamkulam - kollam - trivandrum

shortest - 863kms

bangalore - hosur - dharmapuri - selam - namakkal - karur bypass - trichy - dindigul - kodai - munnar (via NH 49) - kottayam - pathanamthitta - punalur - trivandrum

have attached the screenshots also.

I'm not sure about the road conditions. Have driven years back! especially the road which goes to munnar from kodai. I have attached the screen shot for that road also. Please advice.

The vehicle is a Skoda Octavia L&K 1.9 TDi
2 kids on board, 2 adults (only one driver)

The first image is the faster route, second is the shortest. The last image is the kodai - munnar strectch

This will be the straight and clear route to Trichy. Route through Karur is may not be good due to road widening work and Karur to Trichy road is famous for its heavy Jalli (small stones used for construction) lorry traffic. And its longer too. You can also consider Bangalore - Hosur - Dharmapuri - Salem - Namakkal - Musiri _ Trichy Toll gate - Trichy also. For the detailed road condition please refer this thread.

Ofcourse ,you can take Munnar-Kochi-Alapuzha-TVM which is longer but goes through NH47.
but the straight route is:
The road is Munnar-Adimali-Kothamangalam-Muvattupuzha(MC Road to TVM)-Kottayam-Kottarakkara-Thiruvananthapuram.from muvattupuzha ,by car TVM is around 3.5 hours journey.so ,from Munnar to TVM via MC Road(Main Central) ,it is 4+3.5 =7.5hours.I guessed 4 hours munnar to Muvattupuzha .but for a expert driver ,it is 3-3.5 hours negotiating highrange roads.

From Munnar to Trivandrum via MC road ,total kms will be approximately 92(munnar-mvpa)+212(mvpa-tvm) =304kms.while the gps device showed a ridiculous recommendation via kottayam - pathanamthitta - punalur - trivandrum
, when kottayam-trivandrum main central road exists.It seems mapmyindia left to cover MC road .

but i need to touch trichy city, kodai and munnar and then to trivandrum.
