Team-BHP - Chushul, Hanle, Tsoka La etc., P

I plan to explore Changthang Plateau(Atleast the part which is in India :D ) and the surrounding regions of Hanle Chushul,
Online there is very little information available, except for the fact that you need to have full details of all the checkpost on your permits or you will be sent back.

I plan to do this over 4 days

Leh - Korzok (210kms)
Korzok - Hanle - Chushul (Dunno how many kms)
Chushul - Pangong Tso (50kms), but I intend to follow the Man Merak route.
Pangong Tso - Leh via Marsimek La

Anybody have any idea.
I think I will need permits for all the villages like Nyoma, Man, Marek which fall on this route.

I don't know for sure about how far is Hanle from Chushul?

So if anybody here has done the routes mentioned, can you let me know what permits should I get, what are the distances etc., etc.,

I was told that if you have to get to Hanle, you will get a permit if you have an invite from the Telescope guys there - in the name of visiting the telescope (the highest in the world). Otherwise, DC does not issue the permits.

Chushul-Pangong - I thought that road was off-bounds for tourists.

Apparently it is not, and I have read through various travelogues. However the Tsoka La route may be off limits (Man Merak route). Permits for Chushul are issued if you request for them, but you have to go via Tangste if you do not mention Man Merak etc., on your permits.
the information is very sketchy, hence this thread to compile whatever info I can!
