Leaving for Rohtang

Hey Guys,
i am leaving for Rohtang pass with few office friends tomorrow morning in my year old i10.we have to be back by Monday afternoon.In case some has an idea about few details:-
Current weather in Rohtang.
How are the road condition.
What route to take from New Delhi.
Planning to park i10 at Manali and take public transport ahead is it a good idea.
Where to stay.


Immediate help will be really appreciated.

A very good plan..

-But I think ROHTANG will be closed now.. unless someone confirms.
- Road conditions- I assume you will be travelling Mumbai >> Ahmedabad >> Udaipur >> Jaipur >> Delhi >> Chandigarh >> HP

The roads are awesome until Delhi/Chandigarh, specially if you try to hit the GQ roads, once you hit the mountains (Kiratpur) you will find regular ghats with not so great roads until Manali, after this I think you better read my thread, shpuld give you a fair idea. If you are visiting for the first time I think you should go through Delhi/Chandigarh.
