NH-207 is also part of the new proposed peripheral road around Bangalorepassing through Devanahalli, Dodbelaphore etc

Condition of the road is not all that great. Lots of potholes. I tried this some time back, but was not satisfactory at all.

Today, when I was exploring the best route from Chennai to Bangalore on Google Maps, I was shocked to see EVR Periyar Salai [Poonamallee High Road] in the heart of Chennai has been wrongly named as Sira Bypass and SH 84. What business do Sira Bypass and SH 84 have in Chennai?

No I think its not the Google contest. This problem has been there for quite some time. The problem I think is the inheritance of route names for NH4.
SH84 even I was surprised. Even I noticed it long back. Left the problem there, assuming it might one more blip which they may rectify.
