Hi,

Am planning for a trip to North Karnataka from Bangalore. If anyone can provide me the latest road condition info around the following route plan, it'll be great :-

1) Blore-Tumkur ( via Nice Road and then on to NH4 )
2) Tumkur-Jog ( NH206 ) on to NH17
3) Gokarna-Karwar stretch on NH17
4) NH63 to Dharwad
5) Dharwad to Badami,Hospet,Hampi
6) Dharwad - Blore ( NH4 )

Also I am planning to halt at Sagar and Gokarna. If anyone can suggest any nice budget hotels in the area, it'll be very useful.

My bad that i ended up posting 2 threads. The first one took a while to get approved and i ended up posting a second one thinking something had gone wrong at my end while trying to post the first one.

Anyways, thanks for the info. Although there's a lot of info around NH4, I actually wanted some specifics around NH206 ( Tumkur-Honnavar ), NH63 ( towards Yellapur-Dharwad ) and NH13 ( Hospet-Chitradurga ).

I am starting this trip on 23rd so am all excited right now ( just 2 days to go ).

I really need some quick info on the road conditions for NH13 ( Hospet - CHitradurga ). If this road is really bad, I might drive to Dharwad and take the NH4 to Bangalore.
