Jaipur-Chittaur-Mandu-Ajanta-Bombay: advice needed

HVK sir, Team BHP experts,

Find attached my finalised plan for a one week (7 day) trip in my friend's Swift ZXI.

Need validation on road conditions, distance & time estimates, choice of hotels etc. Any advice on must sees/dos in the places covered is welcome as are tips from those who've been there, done that.

Am planning on doing the Sound and Light show at Chittaur fort.

Am leaving in an hour, can anyone comment on road conditions, specially between Chittor and Mandu (NH 79 via Mandsaurand Ratlam to Nagda, State roads via Dhar) ? As well as Mandu to Aurangabad (state roads to Dhamnod, NH 3 to Dhule via Maheshwar, NH 211 to Aurangabad via Ellora).

Just saw your thread.
No idea of the Chittoor-Mandu road, but mostly RJ roads are good and MP roads bad.
Except for some bad sectiosn between Damnod and the MH border, teh rest of NH3 and road further to A'Bad is good.

Yeah - though I must say, eastern MP roads are GOOOD all through - esp around Katni and Bandhavgarh!
