Guidance on Bangalore to Srinagar Road Trip

Hello everyone,

I am planning a road trip from Bangalore to Srinagar in my Scorpio during Mid Feb next year. I need all the help and assistance I can get from you guys regarding the best route possible for this trip.
My dad is worried about the Jammu-Srinagar road conditions during this time as he fears that it would be slippery and for this reason he is very apprehensive. I would be really grateful if someone could let me know the current road conditions, as this trip is possible only if I convince my dad about the conditions. Thanks to everyone in advance.
