Was able to book a seva ( not the DIP) fo January. Any idea when accommodation will open for January?
Planning to visit next week, leaving early morning from Bangalore and have lunch in Tirupati. Please suggest any good hotels in Tirupati town for lunch which has decent restrooms.
Also wanted to know what is the average waiting time for Darshan for Rs.300 ticket during weekdays?

If you plan to climb up the ghat and then have lunch at Tirumala, then I think you should not miss the lunch at the TTD run food halls. It is unlimited, hygienic and super tasty!

If you are starting early morning from Bangalore, you can reach in max 3.5 hours for breakfast itself, thanks to excellent roads. If you had gone through this thread, you can find multiple recommendations. I recommend PS4 for hygienic yummy food and also has decent rest rooms.
For darshan, you can budget for 4 hours approximately on an average.

Thanks mate :thumbs up.
Thanks to your timely post, I was able to book tickets for SED on 29th Jan for myself & family. Our last visit to Tirumala was in March-2022.
This time my 12-year old daughter is super excited to go up by footpath (Alipiri route*). The last time she climbed by foot was through Srivari Mettu when she was just 5 or 6 years old.
*I kept bombarding her with my childhood stories of how my dad, myself and my brother climbed Alipiri route annually and had a ball of a time every year. Sometimes we even climbed up and down on the same day! And slept like a drunkard in my Aunt's home in Tirupati. Those were the times. Now, I'm super-excited to see my little one showing the same enthusiasm. I going to make sure she enjoys the walk as much as I did/do.
It helps that we went to Ahobilam in Dec-2022 and had a great time walking to Jwala Narasimha temple and Ugra sthamba. It has boosted her confidence in walking/trekking for long distances. I couldn't be happier as a dad :Cheering:

I have booked Arjith Brahmotsavam seva and it's scheduled at 2:30 pm next week. I have no idea of this seva. Can someone share some details and also share details on darshan? Whether the seva ticket holders be merged with SED queue for darshan or any break darshan is given? Thanks in advance!

You can consider Arjitha Brahmotsavam is another set of poojas done by priests.
Once you enter, you will be asked to be in the pooja hall for an hour or so. And then redirected to join the SED queue via Vaikuntum Queue complex or via Supatham queue.
Its not break darshan. You will have darshan like regular Rs. 300 queue and at same distance.
Apart from doing the seva to lord which is a holy thing, for all practical purposes for darshan, you can consider it like another way to get Rs. 300 darshan type, and nothing significantly different.

Went to Tirumala by walk (Alipiri route) on Saturday 28th Jan. Very heavy rush in Tirumala due to Ratha Sapthami. We were able to see the last vahanas for the day: Sarva Bhoopala Vahanam and Chandra Prabha Vahanam. No accommodations available in Tirumala. Hence came back by bus to Tirupati on Saturday night.
Went by car on Sunday (29th Jan) to Tirumala after darshan at Tiruchanoor. Reported at ATC Circle for SED darshan (Rs.300) at 1.00pm. Our slot was actually 2pm. There were people in queue with 5pm and 10pm darshan slot as well. All were permitted freely. We were sitting in Vaikuntam Q-complex hall from 2pm to 4.30pm. Had darshan at 5.45pm. Started from Tirumala at 7pm after collecting Laddus. Reached home in Bangalore at 12 midnight.
