Re: Tirumala / Tirupati Seegradarshanam query

Fellow motorists. Need help with some information

I remember seeing a giant Anjaneya statue on the step way to Tirumala from Alipiri. Is there a fully functioning Anjaneya temple too at this place like the Sri Laksmi Narasimha Swami temple we visit on the step way?

Not really a temple per say. It is just the big statue. People do stop for taking His blessings. It is also possible to stop over at this place on the down-route from Tirumala by road. Small parking area also available (maybe 5-10 cars can be parked).

Re: Tirumala / Tirupati Seegradarshanam query

I am in initial stages of planning a trip to Tirumala with family members. Few queries and guidance requested

1. I see all slots for Darshan are full. What options are available for advance booking of darshan tickets? (Not sure of going to tirupati and trying given that there are older age folks also).
2. Is Special Entry Darshan part of any other relatively affordable sevas that can be booked for a darshan around end of June please?

No option to buy tickets in advance directly from the temple for June now. The only option is to book full tour package from various RTCs like APSRTC or KSRTC or IRCTC. They might have few seats available in those packages.

The RTCs had removed the break/seegra darshan some time back. All of these only have the free darshana as part of the package. For elderly persons, this can turn out to be inconvenient.

Not to disappoint you, practically it is near impossible to have a darshan in June, unless you know really

Unfortunately we have to book tickets for Special Entry Darshan atleast 3 months in advance and tickets open on 24th of every month. And you just missed the bus.

Same goes with Sevas too.

You have to plan really well in advance and book tickets ahead. Going there and getting tickets is doable for young people, but not practical for familes traveling with senior citizens and kids.
