Recently did this route and wanted to give my update
Ashish Pallod has warned us about this earlier, but, Pune -> Solhapur sucks. Tarmac's okay. Too much traffic. So bad that it results in frustration. Lots of traffic. Can't overtake. Slow journey. Better idea would be to do Indapur->Baramati->Shirwal->Pune.
Belgaum->Anmod->Ponda 2 hours . Road is great. If your see trucks parked ahead of you in your lane don't stop. Squeeze past or you'dd wait forever.

What's the best route for going from HYD -> Belgaum?

Google shows these 3 very different options. Looking for suggestions based on road condition, travel time and scenic quotient of the route.

Also does this really take 11+ hrs? I plan to start at 4AM or so in the morning and am hoping to beat HYD traffic.

Any other suggestions?
