4 Days, to where? - Suggestions Please

So here I am, with a holiday lasting this week (3 days gone but still have 4 days). I can't go out of country, and want to know where to head around near Pune. Could be south, west, though this part of India is super-hot right now.

Please suggest me a place where I can just go, dump my back, hang out in my shorts and around with my camera, or just pure relaxation. Puducherry (or erstwhile Pondicherry) comes to mind, and so does Goa/Karwar. But won't that be hot. Any other place you could think of?

yes, it will be hot almost everywhere.

I think best bet would still be GOA, however check out Tarkarli in Malvan region.

It sure will be hot (and humid near the coast) but for the type of trip you want and the number of days you have Konkan seems to be the best bet.

Murud/Dapoli, Malvan/Tarkarli, Kashid - it could be a long list.
If you need something slightly cooler, try Mahabaleshwar or Matheran.
Pure fun and relaxation - head to Goa!
Some wildlife, photgraphy or adventure? Dandeli/Pench/Tadoba (although the drives would be long in the other 2 cases)
