Kochi to Wagamon/Kuttikkanam

Hi guys

I am planning a trip to wagamon and kuttikkanam in june during monsoon

. Please suggest the most scenic drive to these places

Beauty. All roads to Kuttikanam are beautiful for a drive. IIRC Kuttikaam is 195kms from Trivandrum. Would also suggest Paranthumpara and Panchalimeedu. I would also suggest that you go to Kuttikanam first and then Wagamon and return home via Pala route (?)

You can go via Muvattupuzha, THodupuzha, Muttom, Moolamattam, Nadukani, Kulamavu, Painavu/Idukki, Cheruthoni and Kattapana too.

There is a route directly from Vagamon to Thodupuzha/Moolamattom too. The drive down from Vagamon is good - with lots of small waterfalls and a big one enroute.

I think that is around 40Kms.

Hi guys

decided to start from kochi on saturday early morning to vagamon via muvattupuzha,erattupetta.

then to kuttikkanam via elappara. then parunthumpara and panchalimedu

planning to return to Kochi by Sunday night. Hope i will get time to visit all these places? Let me know if there is some less crowded tourist places in this route...

did the trip. drove via vagamon.elappara,peermed to parunthumpara . couldnt visit panchalimedu due to rain and fog. will open a small travelogue...
