If you are going during mid summer (mid June roughly), going to Nordkapp and witnessing the midnight sun is a very memorable experience. It's a long drive if you are south (around Oslo). The cruise that runs from south all the way towards the north pole is considered one of the world's most beautiful cruises. The scenic beauty is nothing short of breath taking! Have fun!

Uday, I have done Eurail from Brussels to Norway.

How did I do it?
Brussels-Koln
Koln-Hamburg
Hamburg-Copenhagen
Copenhagen-Malmo
Malmo-Goteberg
Goteberg-Oslo

I switched trains within 5-10 minutes of each other at the stations mentioned.
Having left Brussels at 10 am, I was in Copenhagen at 9 pm.
The train takes a ferry of 1.30 hours between Hamburg and Copenhagen, great experience.
I did the Copenhagen-Oslo sector the next day, leaving Copenhagen by 9 am and reaching Oslo by 3 pm.
From Oslo, I went on to Bergen.

Amsterdam is just 2 hours from Koln, you will reach faster than from Brussels.
Koln, Hamburg and Malmo are major rail junctions.

From Amsterdam, getting to Zurich is also easy. May be best done via Frankfurt Main (big rail junction)(4 hours). I have travelled Amsterdam-Frankfurt-Basel-Zurich in three-quarters of a day.
