Chennai to Madikeri Via Mannarkad and Sulthan Bathery

Hi,

We are planning a ride to Madikeri from Chennai on 07th of June.
We plan to take a scenic route to enjoy the nature of the Western Ghats. We heard from lot of people that it's raining heavily in this belt and we also don't have any clear information on do's and don'ts on this route.
My questions are
1. How are the road conditions in this route?
2. Since we are going by bike is there any precautions to be take (for both Bike and Rider)
3. How worse can the rain affect the drivability and visibility in these terrains?
4. Can we reach Madikeri atleast by 4 PM on Saturday?
To give a little more background information on the trip: It's basically to attend BOM (Bulls of Mysore) 3rd Anniversary. BOM is a bullet club in Mysore.

The route is as follows:
CHENNAI (leave by 5 00 am Morning)
COIMBATORE -----529 K.M
ANAIKATTI
MANNARKAD-----80.66 K.M
STAY IN MANNARKKAD (Friday Night)
SATURDAY LEAVE MANNARKKAD
TUVVUR
POOKKOTTUMPADAM
MUNDERI
SULTHAN BATHERY ------151 K.M
SULTHAN BATHERY
MANANTHAVADY
THOLPETTY
GONIKOPPAL
VIRAJPET
MADIKERI ---------143 K.M (Reach by 4 PM Saturday)
TOTAL ----------------- 823 K.M
