Hi,

I am planning to drive down to Dalhousie in the last week of August.

Ideally I intend to drive down from gurgaon, till any intermediate location, halt for the night and then drive on the next day to Dalhousie

I am currently debating between Dharamshala or Dalhousie. Could you suggest which is better in terms of ease of driving.

I haven't driven much on the hills except Gurgaon-Manali last year. Do you reckon the roads are as good/ wide, for Dalhousie.

If I do go to dalhousie, could you suggest the various alternate routes, and which is preffered.

-Has any one ventured on that side recently. Any streches to to avoid? How are the road conditions.

Which is a good place to stay in between while driving from Gurgaon to Dalhousie.

There is a place called Peace Channel where I stayed almost 5 years back. When I saw this post, just felt checking their website.

My stay was very nice then. Looks like they have maintained their standards.
