Lucknow Festival - 25 Nov - 5 Dec - A Quick weekend trip

Hi all,
I am planning a weekend trip either 26/27/28 or 3/4/5 Dec during the lucknow festival period. if possible with family.

As per my knowledge its organised by UP tourism and Lucknow Admin. Cultural Events , Food (Main agenda).

Has any Bhpian visited during this period. Need more info regarding the event.

Also a T-Bhp meet @ lucknow (Drive in) can be planned too ?

thanks in advance.

Welcome (in advance!) to the City of Nawabs!

Cultural programmes are held in evening/night at the 'Lucknow Mahotsav' site. For real famous food (Kawabs etc,), you have to visit original shops, as food quality on shops in festivals will not be good. The event has been downgraded in last few years, due to lack of (I mean late & incomplete) preparations by the administration. Still, it can be a good weekend trip from Delhi/NCR. Yes, three days (Fri-Sat-Sun) will be enough.

It'll be nice to meet you (and others) here.

Re: Lucknow Festival - 25 Nov - 5 Dec - A Quick weekend trip

hello friends,

I am based at lucknow only and know that it is quite late for me to answer this ques, but anyway, suggestion is always good as it can benefit other people as well,

the famous Tunde kababs can be eaten in their oldest chowk outlet which serves only beef or else in aminabad where you can have both goat and beef kababs,
these kababs are called as GALAWAT kababs...
