I had participated in a Mahindra Bolero contest and ended up winning a 4D/3N voucher at any Club Mahindra Travel registered 3 star Hotel.


Of all the locations available, decided to head out to Kerala as its been a while I went to that part of the country (last visit was to Cochin & Munnar in June 2006). While the decision regarding the location and date was being made, our fellow BHPian "Beejay" announce a mother of freebie "Free accomodationin Coonoor during weekdays. So the decision was made to spend a few leisurely days in the Nilgiri's before heading out to Sea all energised.

The route has been decided as Hyd - Bangalore - Mysore - Ooty - Coonoor - Ashtamudi

Mahindra guys seems to be very clever. They should have given you their property in Ashtamudi which is good.

I would suggest you go to Astamudi - the Aaditya Resorts.
Kochi is just another commercial city, which deserves just a day visit.
In case you want to evaluate the Kochi hotels, Sealord is a good location in the middle of Ernakulam, facing the sea, next to the boat jetty to take you across to KOchi islands.
