Guys, pl. help me in finalising between a NHC and Fiesta 1.6

I want an allrounder with : Good FE , Performance, Easy In and Out, Ride & Handling, ASS, Decent interiors, etc... and all factors that can be covered.

I'll be booking the vehicle on Monday(6-Mar-2006) as there is more wait period for NHC than Fiesta 1.6

Senoirs, pl. help me.........
The Fiesta 1.6 wins HANDS DOWN over the NHC IDSI; no contest there at all....go for the Fiesta with your eyes closed.

And, a word of advice, don't go in for the base Elantra, you will not get anything other than some more bhp (without the adrenalin surge)....and IMHO it looks worse than the Fiesta

Except for the performance and handling at high speeds - it would be the other way round, I think.

Debatable, highly debatable.... . As I've said before, the only competition for the 1.6 would be the Vtec, not the IDSI.

Pl. let me know if Elantra can be considered.....

If you consider that the NHC Gxi should make a better deal.
ok lets start comparing .UMmmm!!

bigger car
bigger powerplant
better comfort
better a/c
vaccum assisted brakes
15" wheels
better stereo( please check)
dual height adjustable seat
auto down power windows
tilt steering(please check if NHC has it)
foot rest
impact sensing door unlock
gas filled shock absorbers

looks pretty good deal to me

while elantra is a bit expensive than the NHC but much more vfm fiesta takes NHC from the bottom end and is cheaper. hence I wouldnt buy NHC for a bit more and would go for the fiesta to save a bit more.

fiesta is more powerful, equally Fe, more comfortable, better handler and ok looker. Build quality is not as good as NHC though and ford dealers are ranked below Honda people too.
