so.. lancer is just 25kgs heavy??.. so does that mean that baleno has a good body??.. i mean not as feather weight as the esteem

Nope, that means Baleno has a feeble body. Baleno has a 1.6 engine installed while lancer has a smaller 1.5 and esteem even lighter 1.3

This means Lancer's body is stronger.

i don't like any of the options,that you have.You have a decent budget & with a lancer diesel,you will end up paying 1.5L for the maintenece instead of accessories.

You should look for a petrol lancer/honda city -1.3/1.5. even a baleno will do,try other dealers. You should be able to find a 2001 model,at a resonable price.

Great to see your response, after all your suggestions I have got both cars verified and finnally chose Lancer Diesel, though I am a Fan of Maruthi Since 1987 till date. This is my first Non Maruthi Car in my garage, but I have taken it after your suggestions.

I am geeting the following Mods Done.

3. Sports Spoiler (Original Lancer Sports)
4. Full Body Skirtings
5. Motorised Sun/ Moon Roof
6. Leather Seat Covers
7. JVC DVD System with 2 Head Rest Screens
8. 1 - Monoblock Amp (4 SubWoofer), 1 - Sony 222 Amp (Speakers)
9. 600 Watts Blaupunkt (blue cone), 480 Watts Pioneer Speakers (Bluecone)
10. EVO VII Tail Lamps
11. Angel Eyes Head Lamps with HID XENON Kit
12. Alpine 5.5" Head Rest Screens
13. Reverse Sensors

Fully Loaded Lancer GLXD

Dear All

Greetings!!

Guys I now have fitted the following to Lancer GLXD
1. HKS Silencer (Excellent & Decent Sound at top speeds)
2. Skirts
3. Sports Spoiler
4. JVC DVD
5. Alpine Head Rest Screens
6. Blaupunkt Subwoofer
7. Pioneer 420 Watts Speakers (2 Nos)
8. Pioneer 180 Watts Speakers (2 Nos)
9. Rock Ford Tweeters.
10. Altered Head Rests (Skoda)

I Again need some help........................?

My JVC DVD is Dolby Digital, DTS. But I need a 5.1 Channel. Can any of you guys suggest me the best 5.1 system. I got an option from Pioneer and Kenwood but these Head units are equipped with In dash screen which I am not intrested as this causes a lot disturbance while on drive.

Please suggest......
