Spares Cost : Aveo/Baleno/Fiesta/NHC

Hi Guys,

I have collated the spares cost of a few spares of Aveo/Baleno/Fiesta/NHC in bangalore. I have mentioned the dealer's name and phone number who quoted these numbers. I have also marked the costliest spare for each line in RED. Hope this helps....

venkatrx - this is a good start but the spares above don't really give an idea of maintenance in my opinion. The parts we should be looking out for are those which are likely to be changed during routine service - such as oil filter (with every oil change), fuel filter etc.

Please don't get me wrong but it is not usual to change the parts listed above during routine maintenance.

Equally important as spare prices would be labour prices. Labour charged by authorised service centres contributes a lot to your bill outside the warranty period. Labour includes the cost of a normal service itself.

Hrag, Naveen,

I totally agree with you guys. This is just a start, hopefully others can pitch in with the data for ...

+ the frequently replaced parts
+ labour charges for them

Hrag, Naveen, can you guys also post the relevant data as explained by you...

for pre-2006 its 6,300 and 700.

So if i break my headlamps or taillamps i am going to get the pre-2006 spares, hope they do fit into the new model.

OK, here's some data for my March 2003 Tata Indica V2 LSi (4 free services).

Oil filter: 88.12
Fuel filter: 288.19
Air filter: 175.01

Sample of labour charges:
30K service: 1451.25
40K service: 798.75
Oil change: 90.00

I'll need to get all the details from my service bills and include all of the costs as part of my long term review (which I have been promising for some time).

IMO, it may also add to the looks of the Baleno and will be cheaper than original parts

Spyder,
i dont think the fiesta & city mirrors will improve the looks when fitted on a baleno.i dont know about the aveo as im yet to see one.

about headlight & tail light i think ul need to mod the mountings & the body .so overall there would be an increase in costs.also i still like the design of baleno in plain.the only part i dont like is the chrome grille on front which looks boring on any colours except black.
Hey VenkatRX do u think that the quoted prices are correct?from these figures the nhc spares seems to be cheaper

I am pretty confident about the Baleno prices as i got the same prices from two dealers. But for Aveo/NHC/Fiesta i have got the pricing from one dealer only.....i hope that those guys gave me correct prices. Atleast they took time saying that they were looking into the price list.

10k for those tail-lamps
even more

in any case, venkat, i checked out the list that you have with the list given in the spare parts survery done by ACI in nov'05 issue. and the figures are tallying for baleno(pre-06) and NHC except ..
- baleno's headlights are just 1763 i.s.o 6318

and it does not have figures for the fiesta and the aveo and baleno-06

Well im not sure about the tail lamps or the headlamps part of it , but the bumper prices seem to be on target .. Just bought these today from RNS ..

1. Bonnet - 4800 + tax ..
2. Front Bumper - 3600 + tax ..
3. Radiator Assembly - 3300 + tax ..
4. Head Gasket - 1534 + tax ..
5. Intake & Exhaust Gasket - 800 + tax ..

Also in bangalore baleno parts seem to be very rare .. Had to hunt the whole city down for these parts .. Finally bcoz of the high contact in RNS managed to get them easily .. Most of the stuff i hear is sent down from delhi based on order basis ..
