Hi All

In sheer terms of driving comfort with modest FE, which variant of NHC is good and economical in A.S.S
a) Normal NHC
b) NHC - CVT ( I belive this is Honda Multimatic version)
c) NHC-VTEC

There is < 20-30k price diff in CVT&VTEC
Mostly city and occasional runs to mahabaleshwar and nearby spots
RK

In terms of city driving, it has to be CVT. Not much difference in city driving between VTEC and Normal NHC.

Cheers.

for driving comfort : CVT
FE : CVT should be lower
Vtec is for the power.....
Maintenance : people say 'automatic' is trouble some but i believe atleast honda automatic should be trouble free....

Sumed,
will owning a cvt run up maint bills coz its automatic ?

For city driving its gotta be CVT.
Specially in slow traffic of Pune you'll find it convenient

I don't think so... Hondas seems to be low on maintenance (by experience). I own an Exi... Maybe if someone owns a CVT in this forum can answer.

I would also suggest that you visit Deccan Honda and ask them about service charges for automatic. That should help.

Thanks for replying..
I will be going to Deccan Honda this weekend to ascertain the costs associated with owing a CVT.
On the price front there is a thin red line of approx 20k diff between cvt&vtec..8.48cvt and 8.64vtec approx..

all i cared about the vtec bit were the alloys ure looking for city driving id choose the CVT anyday, i got myself one as well. its been 2 months now. its really good fun i have drive upto 150 on it and its nice for an auto at the price too. go for it nothing wrong at atll
