Viva ABS (Petrol) / Aveo 1.4 / Fiesta 1.4

Hi people!,

I am a newbie to this community, but have been simply floored by the quality of feedback and interactivity that I've seen by members on TBHP.

I am currently evaluating options between purchasing a Viva 1.6 Petrol with ABS / Aveo 1.4 / Fiesta 1.4 and would value your experiences with any of these cars that you may have!

I drive about 20k KM a year, value performance ( I will be driving this car myself) and interior space (family of 3) more than anything else. My thoughts on these cars are:

Viva:
Likes:
  1. Still looks stunning
  2. Drives well, punchy engine and decent gearbox
  3. A.S.S. for Hyundai is proven
  4. Resale value may be better than the US brands (Chevy / Ford)
  5. ABS at same OTR price is standard
  6. Seems Roomy
Dislikes:
  1. Maintenance costs higher than Aveo (compared parts list and service costs from dealer)
  2. Interior seems spartan compared to the newer cars
Aveo:
Likes:
  1. Looks good, interior is plush
  2. High ground clearance and decent suspension
  3. Rear Seat comfort is best in class
  4. Silent
Dislikes:
  1. Engine and gearbox combination :-(
Fiesta: (Yet to test drive)
Likes:
  1. A good drivers car
  2. The interior is more focussed on the driver
Dislikes:
  1. Interior
  2. Low on Space and small knick-knacks storage
Any experiences / views that you guys can share here?

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the heads up! But would it meet my budget (7L)?

whT!

Maintenance costs higher than Aveo (compared parts list and service costs from dealer) for Hyundai???

My choice would be the Fiesta 1.4. Do search or go through similar threads. Teh new Accent will be here sometime (sept? who knows!) but would be costlier than teh current one.
