Looking for new car....

Hi,

I am in Chandigarh and currently own a Corsa 1.4 GSI. Its a December 2003 model. I have decided to buy a new car...and i am willing to spend upto 7 lacs (including the amount i'll get by selling old corsa) for new car.

I drive atleast 30-50 kms. everyday. And i also maintain the car very well, means i get the services done when they are due, get something fixed if its broken or bad or etc. You get the idea.

My Questions:
  1. Should i get Petrol or Diesel car ?
  2. I have put these cars in my compare list Optra, Access CRDi, Fiesta TDCi, Baleno, Honda City.
  3. Should i get Petrol or Diesel car ?
  4. Should i wait as more cars are expected both diesel and petrol ?

I am basically looking for a new car which should have the following:
  1. It should be cheaper to maintain.
  2. When AC is turned on it should not put load on car's performance.
  3. Should give me a mileage of atleast 12-15 kmpl.
  4. I want to get Stereo, Fog Lamps and Keyless for Free.
  5. The after sales should be good like Maruti, Hyundai or GM.

The Optra is giving me the following for FREE:

1. 1 + 2 Year Extended Warranty.
2. 3 Years Free Services.
3. Rs. 56000 Cash Discount.
4. 3 Year Money Back Guarantee. Means they will buy back my car by deducting 20% + 20% + 20% and no more.

I am trying to get Foglamps + Keyless from them but they are not doing it.

Other companies i have not checked. Please let me know.

Thanks.
