New Honda City GXI

Hello,
I am planning to get the NHC CXi, I am not a speed freak and my pref is medium speed with good FE. I am currently in Sweden and will be returing to India by Oct I am planning to buy this car asap in Oct. I will prefer to buy it from my home town KOLHAPUR, it has one dealer Riverside HONDA. Please adivce me about my choice. If by chance I have to change my choice due to some circumstance then my options will be
1. Fallback to a Maruti (Baleo) I already have a Esteem Vxi 2004 and I would stress I have not issues with Maruti regarding their service and also till date there is no probs with the esteems, I am happy with this car which will be used by my wife.
2. Chevy Aveo :: I do not know much about this car
3. Ford Fiesta :: I do not know much about this car

Some details about my usage
1. Max 20 Km per day in Navi Mumbai
2. Monthly one long trip of 800 KM (To Kolhapur NH4)
3. I have visiting a Garage
4. Good FE

I have black listed some Models and cars
1. Any Hyundai
2. Any Fiat

Please help me if I have to consider any thing else before I approach the dealer.

Given your driving preference (FE important, speed/performance not very crucial), the NHC is a good choice. Also has pretty good interiors. If the exterior look is OK with you and you do not mind paying a slight premium for the Honda tag, go for the NHC.
With the Baleno, you get better performance than NHC, though FE will be lesser by 1kmpl or so. Also the interiors will be dull, exteriors (especially the rear lights) are nothing much to rave about. But then you pay a lakh or so rupees lesser for the Baleno (compared to the NHC).
