roam around a lot then i guess it should be the crdi, its cheap runnin fuel and you will save heavy money on petrol. the honda city also not a bad option.

Bro,
i doubt that you can get an accent CRDi for under 4L in Banglore.
I would put my money on the OHC VTEC unless you have the time and the effort to get the contessa modified into a muscle car.
Here's what T-BHP member (psycho) did to his contessa -

Hi,
Why don't you have a look at the Esteem (New Looks) It really is a VFM.
It falls under your budget aswell.... just think over again

thnx for ur replys, i did some research and i found out that the crdi for 4l is impossible.toyota sera is for two people so that goes down in the list....
still thinking about the honda city and here comes the esteem....
frankly willy do you like the way the car looks???though i agree it is solid vfm..if i dont get any other car then the esteem it will be.
but now seriously contemplating of the contessa to GT500 idea esp. after seeing psycho's work...
will decide after having a chat with psycho....

If you fail in the Contessa-turned-muscle-car idea then go for City VTEC. You can easily find City VTEC under 4L.

what a wonderful time of life you are in!!!

Enjoy it with the City VTEC and keep sprucing it up as and when you can. Best choice.

Your choice of Toyota Sera sounds funny in your list unless you want to go out with ONE girl friend (even then you will be missing what you can do in the back seat ).

You can have all that with the Old Honda City.

My Answer is YES!! I agree that the old esteem looks dated. But the new look is very nice. It is only people making comments that we feel like that. I see new esteems on roads even now in bangalore... that really makes a diff right?

yeah sure you are right willy... the esteem does command respect as a road car as well as a rally car.. but the people here think the city ohc is better.....wat say you???
