Verna resale price?

Hi Folks,

I have a Verna xi model that I may have to sell as I am relocating. Any ideas on how much would it fetch?

Model: Petrol xi
Color: Deep Pearl Blue
Mileage: 1300 kms
Condition: As good as new

Thanks in advance for any inputs.

Since Verna is new car its hard to tell about resale value. For any car there wil be at least 20% deppreciation of on road price and 50% depreciation on accessories you have fit. Do the calculation to yourself!

Used car is always used car no one trust it while buying and they won't give single paisa sometimes for accessories we have fit.

I have sold multiple cars so far since I tend to change the cars regularly but I can see I have got very good resale value every time since I maintained my cars very good. But however there will be 20% depreciation for most of the popular cars like Verna for first 1 year. I am sure in your case its Verna 2006 manufactured car. so depreciation is at least 20% or slightly more than that unless you get Verna fan who repect it and give good value!

I suggest you approach popular automatch they should find some buyers for you also put good ad in news papers and website since i am sure there are many guys who want to buy verna immediately.

Regards,

Ravi.

I would have suggested you put it on the marketplace, but i realise you are a newbie and cannot post there. I am sorry you have to sell your new car and I hope you get a good value for it.

No one can tell you for sure, but heres a guesstimate. The Diesel Verna will have decent resale, but yours being a petrol.....I doubt the value in the second hand car market.

I think it would be more appropriate to take the car along if relocating within India as otherwise you may loose out a lot.

Unfortunate.. Selling thru known channels would get you the best value. Try to find someone at your work place or neighbourhood.

I would have been interested but I certainly want to take a look at the new Baleno whenever its launched and then decide..

I agree wiz. If you are relocating within India, I too suggest that you relocate, with your new Verna. It is brand new, you bought it because you like it and you will need a car anyways, why do you want to lose money?

Unless you are relocating outside of India.

Well, I would have loved to hold on to the car but I am moving to the US.

If you can email me your expected rate I can help you to refer a person who is known to mefrom many many years and he is honest guy to find good buyers.

If needed I will give his cell number and I am sure he will help for sure.

Ravi.
