What about Audio Controls on steering wheel? Even cars a segment lower like SX4 has it, Honda is surely taking us for a ride on their Shine.

Audio controls can be either on the steering wheel or the rear seat. To have it in both places will be complicated as the remote in to the HU will only be 1.

If they remove it from the rear seats and put it on the steering wheel customers will complain. Remember that majority of civic owners will be chauffeur driven. Only a handfew are enthusiasts.

My personal choice is the steering wheel.

What i dont like is the exclusion of variable intermittent wipers and trip computer.

Saw the new civic today.
Hona has discontinued with the Galaxy Gray and is now offering Carbon Bronze.
The salesperson said that the V variant will cost between 70 - 1L more than the S.
Not worth it in my opinion.
Will look around for some other car now.

Similar here.

And Lumbar support is very important, the Optra was the first car to have it and then came the Elantra with it, soon Toyota followed it and then Skoda buttt Honda

@unknown,
thinking of a Corolla instead.
Found the Civic too cramped and stripped.

We need the lumbar support for sure and as a necessity than a comfort, considering the sorry state of roads in India. Maybe, Honda wants to save a few sheckels on this one until all of the competition go for it.

The way that I see it : If you are selling a premium C+ segment car at 13 lac rupees, you had better offer all the value-added features. Its the small things that add to an overall happy ownership experience. Just witness how happy Skoda Laura owners are....IMHO despite being overpriced, the "fully-loaded" nature of the Laura keeps owners satisfied. From the lower segment, the SX4 has gone on to redefine the rules of standard equipment at a value price. Undoubtedly, that will attract a ton of potential buyers and go a long way in holding the "feel good" factor high.

Yup, lumbar support is great to have for long drives. And the Civic must offer it. No excuses.

Honda typically has only one midlife upgrade.
Expect no revision till the new Corolla comes out.
