Re: Hyundai Aura vs the competition Voted for Ford Aspire 1.5 TDCi. Not only because I own one, but also for how good the car is. It may not have all latest features but when it comes to what a car should do, it does perfectly well. It's powerful, sturdy enough, fun to drive, easy to drive, drives well, has superb AC, fuel efficient, cheap to maintain, has good looks, and don't forget the low-end torque. Heck, I even once drove the car from office to home one day when there was relatively less traffic without touching the accelerator and it never shuddered even on flyovers. It feels almost like an automatic in city. Did I forget the five-year warranty it comes with?
When I almost booked the Tigor JTP after four to five test drives, I booked the Aspire after a single test drive. JTP was really good but the Aspire made more sense because it was fun to drive as well as fuel efficient.
In spite of all these positives, the market tend to prefer only bling factors. IMO, this is one of the most underrated cars under 10L. |
