Looking for a OHC

Hi Guys

I wanted some info about the OHC...

1. In which year n month did the OHC stop in the market?
2. What is the average mileage of a OHC?
3. What would the approximate cost of the last model of OHC be?

If anyone from Hyderabad is selling out his OHC... please do let me know.

Looking forward for replies.

mithun I guess you should address your requirement to kutlee (bhp handle i.e) for OHC's in Hyderabad. He has a knack with the OHC and has in the recent past picked himself a beauty of an OHC. Look to him for pointers.

but mithun, u would love the machine once you own one, and regarding mileage OHC can beat any other machine in that segment, if its not abused previously.

Any talk of the OHC, Baleno or the Palio will necessitate instant replies. Please keep us posted on your search for the OHC. Try to get a 2003 model.

hey guys i was going through the posts and saw many a reference about lancer 1.8 AT. could you guys please give me some detailed info about Lancer(not just 1.8 AT but other models too).

OHC or Lancer?
Will i be able to get a good Lancer for 4L?
Which one has lower maintenance?

This is the first car i would be buying and wouldnt want to make a wrong decision and then spend all my salary for the garage bills. I want a car which would be good with just the regular servicing... unless i went and rammed it somewhere.

it depends on what you looking for in a car ... the lancer.. be it the 1.8 invex or anyother model for that matter will be more comfort oriented than the ohc .. if you looking for that then go in a lancer .. but if you want a decent drive .. more performance all round .. better resale ... and better F.E then go in for the city ..

ps: you can get a decent lancer for about 3 laks ( thats in gurgaon/delhi ) dont know about hyderabad... but personaly i would go in for a ohc ..

mithun, its the OHC u shud look for even its a bit late , but after u get your hands on one, u would simply love the ride and the way it treats you. if you have got a decently maintained one , you would end up paying nothing from your pocket except for the petrol.

You want a car that's cheap to maintain, buy a Baleno. If you get one that's less than 3 years old, it would even be in the extended warranty period.
