2004 Octavia with 24,000 km, What is a fair price?

My friend is considering a used Octavia.

It's a Sept. 2004 model with 24,000 km on it.
It has a couple of dings and paint scratches mostly from parking intimacy with motorcycles and fruit-carts.

I know that Delhi is the cheapest place to buy cars and Bangalore the costliest place for 'em, but what would be a fair price in Pune or Mumbai?

Donno if this will help but my dealer who always pushes me to sell the octy and buy a laura, every single time i go for servicing, had quoted my around 7L couple of months back for my 1.9TDi which is a 2005 purchases and 100K on the odo.
Hope that gives you some idea about the resale for Skoda.

Thanks for the information Amey. But this is a petrol model.
A plain Jane Octavia with stamped steel wheels and plastic wheel covers. It has been driven very little, which explains the 24,000 km in 3 years.

A petrol non-turbo 2.0L Octavia has no resale value. They sell for around 3-3.5 lakhs here.
