Since you'll be driving 1000km in the city and only half of that on highways, the Swift Diesel is the only car that makes the cut.

If time isn't a constraint, however, you could try waiting for the Getz CRDi or even the Grande Punto, but the latter'll come only in '08.

If u could streatch ur budget a little more, you can consider the Fiesta. Also why don't u consider the bolero. I personally like the bolero for the highway.

dude i think Gypsy or Bolero will not be able to keep upto your requirements, its not a family car,It lacks comfirt.

i think swift diesel is the right choice or wait for Getz CRDI.

I think Indigo Marina will be good buy.

phamilyman - the swift vdi is available with abs. but not airbags.

Swift ZDi will only be launched after 2 years, when all and the sundry have come out with small CR diesels and Swift diesel sales decline.

Probably it will then be priced attractively and carry a discount as well.

if wishes were horses....
